CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The city of Corpus Christi along with the Texas General Land Office, Solid Waste, and Texas Parks and Wildlife want to collect your rundown, old vessel to make sure it does not have a negative impact on the environment or bring down property values.

You are invited out for the free event that safely and legally disposes of unwanted or inoperable boats. Stop by the Laguna Madre Wastewater Treatment plant on 201 Jester Street in Flour Bluff from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting Tuesday, April 24 through Saturday, April 27.
