Laura Strickland, the young woman accused of tampering with evidence in the high-profile 2012 Portland double shooting case, was released on bond Tuesday.

Strickland left the San Patricio County Jail in the afternoon. Her husband, David Strickland, faces capital murder and sexual assault charges in connection with the 2012 double shooting of Mollie Olgin and Kristene Chapa, which happened at Violet Andrews Park in June of 2012.

Laura Strickland has been in the San Patricio County Jail without bond since the couple was arrested on June 20. As part of her bond, she will have to wear a GPS ankle monitor and must live with her parents in Ingleside.
