CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Houston Astros' utility player Aledmys Díaz was in Corpus Christi with the Hooks Friday night to continue his rehab assignment.

Díaz played a few games this week with Triple-A affiliate Round Rock Express and has come down to Corpus Christi with the Express heading on the road.

Díaz has been out of the Houston lineup since late May with a hamstring injury. He went 0-for-3 with a walk for the Hooks in the series opener against Springfield and played both shortstop and first base.

Both Díaz and Carlos Correa are expected back in the Houston lineup within the next week or two.
