CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — This week's 3News Athlete of the Week belongs to Bishop's Isaiah Rodriguez!
Rodriguez is just in his sophomore year, but he's putting together a season that looks more like an upper-classman. Last week against Taft he ran for 255 yards on just 14 carries, on two of those runs he found the end-zone. A huge game for Isaiah, but the game ended in a Bishop loss by just one point and when you talk to him you know he cares more about winning.
Isaiah and the Badgers are looking for a big district win this week against a tough Aransas Pass team. That game kicks off this Thursday in Aransas Pass at 7:30 PM.
