CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — This week's Athlete of the Week is Bishop's Michael Garcia! Garcia had a very solid season in his senior year with the Badgers earning District 31-3A Defensive MVP. He also earned 1st Team All-District honors for the 2nd time in his high school career. Garcia played a key role in Bishop making history this past season, the Badgers went 17-14 on the season, 9-3 in district. Good enough for a trip to the playoffs where Bishop made a run all the way to the Regional Quarterfinals for the first time since 2002.
