Normally an appearance in the third round of the baseball playoffs would be considered a great year, that is unless you're the Calallen Wildcats. Calallen is coming off a year in which they were upset by Ray-en-route to a region final appearance. The 'cats are back looking to restablish themselves atop the district, the region, and the state. To do that Calallen will have to replace division one pitchers John Gaddis and Zach Rumfield both of whom are now Islanders. they'll replace them with a future Islander, Colton Duff.
