CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was another busy day of spring break baseball Wednesday with several CCISD teams scoring big district wins.

In the nightcap it was second-ranked Veterans Memorial topping rival Carroll 3-0 at Whataburger Field. The Eagles scored three runs in the sixth inning to break the scoreless tie.

In day action the Ray Texans grabbed a big lead over Victoria West before the Warriors rallied to tie the game in the top of the seventh. The Texans would eventually go on to win 7-6 in the bottom half of the inning.

The Moody Trojans got a shutout win over Victoria East 5-0 in the early game at Cabaniss. The Titans had been coming off a big upset over Veterans on Monday.
