The King Mustangs' baseball team is usually in the mix come playoff time, but the Mustangs have some work to do to get back there in 2018.

King is coming off yet another deep playoff run, but one that ended earlier than expected with the Mustangs falling to Moody in the region quarterfinal last year. King returns just five starters from that team and must find a way to replace the production from ace Dustin Saenz who took his talents to Texas A&M.

Still, the Mustangs are confident they can have their new look team in the fold in a wide-open 30-5A.
