CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Tuloso-Midway ISD and longtime Warriors boys basketball coach Bobby Craig have agreed to part ways. Craig has been the head coach for the boys team at T-M since 1982, that's 37 years if you're doing math at home. The story which was first reported by the Caller Times says that the Tuloso-Midway ISD board of trustees voted 7-0 to not renew Craig's contract during a special meeting on May 29th. May 29th's hearing was held after Craig withdrew a request for a hearing after the board voted to consider his non-renewal during the District's regular board meeting on April 22nd. It was also reported that Craig was placed on paid administrative leave on February 21st stemming from allegations of an incident at the school, which led to April 22nd's voting to consider his non-renewal. Craig said he will retire from the district, but will continue coaching. Quite the legacy he will be leaving behind on the court at T-M, winning nearly 800 games in his tenure.
