CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some kids had the opportunity to play baseball Thursday with the Corpus Christi Hooks at Whataburger Field during the 2019 Hooks Baseball Camp.
The camp started Wednesday as kids between five and 12 years old learned different baseball skills like catching, fielding, base running, hitting and pitching. The sessions are led by Hooks players, coaches, and 2018 Texas League Manager of the Year Omar Lopez.
The camp has been going on for over a decade. The last session of the camp will be held Friday.
