Officials with the City of Corpus Christi's Public Works: Engineering and Streets Division announced they will begin installs of gas lines this upcoming week along the Everhart Road Project.
"The Everhart Road Project from Holly Road to South Padre Island Drive will include full-depth reconstruction of the four-lane roadway and a center turn lane, new curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, traffic signals, and street lighting improvements," stated city officials.
Everhart's roadway will be reconstructed with concrete, according to city officials.
Vast improvements for stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure require crews to perform underground utility work.
The City of Corpus Christi says the Everhart Road Project is anticipated to be completed by March of 2021.
