TODAY: Temperatures will start in the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies. We'll warm into the middle 90s this afternoon with a heat index around 105. An upper level disturbance in West Texas will still have an effect on our weather, but bringing isolated showers or storms into the forecast this afternoon - otherwise, partly cloudy skies and haze. Winds from the southeast at 12-22 mph.
TONIGHT: Low temperatures stay in the mid to upper 70s with a southeast breeze at 10-15 mph. Partly cloudy skies.
LOOKING AHEAD: Independence Day will feature hazy sunshine, thanks to Saharan Dust, and highs in the middle 90s. Heat index values between 105 and 110. Rain-free and hot weather is expected into and through the weekend. Saharan Dust levels may go down by Sunday, but until then, expect the haze.
