CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A fire captain in Three Rivers was in the right spot Monday evening when he stopped a man driving a work truck that caught on fire on Interstate-37.
The work truck was carrying explosive equipment and was headed south on the Access Road.
According to Sean Steele, the driver had no idea the vehicle had caught fire.
The truck was able to stop in time, and firefighters got called in to put out the flames.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
