Four people are behind bars after deputies discovered more than three-thousand dollars worth of drugs along with fire arms and a slew of ammunition Thursday in Jim Wells County.

According to the Alice Echo News Journal, deputies were conducting a walk and talk investigation on County Road 457 when they received a tip about a nearby home suspected of drug activity. Investigators say Wyatt Oaks ran into that house and attempted to destroy the drugs.

Deputies ended up discovering 59 grams of synthetic marijuana, an assault rifle, body armor and 100 rounds of ammunition and two small children. Oaks along with Robert Lopez, Amanda Munoz Foster and William Foster were arrested. Oaks currently faces charges of tampering with evidence while Lopez and both Fosters face a charge of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance.
