Victoria (KIII news) — An emergency call went out Tuesday night alerting officials to a gas pipeline fire on a barge in the Matagorda Ship Channel near Victoria.
The U.S. Coast Guard said they worked with the Texas General Land Office to put out the fire and all crew members on board were evacuated to safety.
First responders worked to put out the flames and secure the pipeline to minimize pollution.
