CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some officers were recognized on Friday at the Corpus Christi Police Department for all their hard work and dedication.
Officer Dominic Knab has served on the force for 3-years and is a member of the coast guard reserves.
Knab is best known for his work with the narcotics department helping in some of the city's biggest drug busts.
According to Knab, he chose the police line of work because he loves the area and the people and because it's something he's always wanted to do.
"Definitely something nice to get, and it's amazing to feel recognized but I couldn't have done it with anybody else. Surround me, and no one officer can work alone. Also, I've had much support," Knab said
