Flour Bluff High School NJROTC heads to Florida

The NJROTC team arrived in Daytona Beach for a championship

FLOUR BLUFF (KIII News) — Flour Bluff High School's NJROTC visited Daytona Beach, but not to catch sunrays.

The team qualified for National High School Drill Team Championships. The cadets will compete in the Open Level Color Guard competition in hopes of bringing home the gold.

Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps is a federal program that's sponsored by the U.S. Armed Forces. The program is primarily in high schools and some middle schools across the nation.

The nationwide program promotes leadership, patriotism, respect and much more.
