CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas —
Islanders Women's Basketball is headed to Los Angeles to play in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
They are set to play the USC Trojans, a number one seed in the bracket, on Friday.
The Islanders punched their ticket to March Madness last Thursday, after defeating the Lamar Lady Cardinals for the Southland Conference Championship securing their automatic bid.
Congratulations to those talented ladies making history for TAMUCC.
