CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The U.S. Coast Guard wants to meet YOU at their upcoming Community Day this Saturday at Water's Edge Park from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

If you have ever wanted to know more about what the Coast Guard does for the public, Community Day is your chance to see the life-saving team in action.
Cpt. Michael Cintron said the Coast Guard has a history of being tight with the communities they serve, and this weekend's event is intended to help continue that tradition.
You and your family will be able to learn more about the work of search and rescue teams, small boat operators, marine safety technicians and the folks that ensure the safety of the maritime public in the Coastal Bend.
