CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Power was interrupted early Monday morning for thousands of customers. According to AEP almost 5,000 people were in the dark.
There has been one report of a transformer blowing out but no official word from AEP at this point. Crews hoping to restore power before 7:00 a.m.
