& what does it mean for me?

The air along the Coastal Bend is going to be considerably drier later this week as a rare summer front moves through.

Dew Points will be in the mid-60s. Normally, at this time of year, they're in the mid to upper 70s.

Dew Point is defined as the best measure of atmospheric moisture. The relative humidity is how close the dew point is to the temperature.

Here’s what various dew points mean (Image courtesy: weatherworks.com)

  • 70s: Typical summer
  • 60s: Humid, but not bad
  • 50s: Mostly comfortable
  • 40s: Very comfortable or dry

So, enjoy the day or two of less humid weather this week because humidity and rain chances return by the weekend
