Police identify man killed in Glen Arbor Park shooting

According to police, the shooting happened around 6:40 p.m. Sunday at Glen Arbor Park near Tanglewood and Etheridge Drive.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that killed one man on the city's south side. 

According to police, the shooting happened around 6:40 p.m. Sunday at Glen Arbor Park near Tanglewood and Etheridge Drive.

CCPD said two men exchanged gunfire at the park when a 20-year-old man was shot.

20- year-old Parris Tipton from Corpus Christi was taken to Christus Spohn South Hospital where he later died.

Currently, police are still searching for the suspect and are investigating the incident.
