CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — From the air... to the ground... it was a ceremony honoring the change of command for the Chief of Naval Air Training onboard NAS Corpus Christi.
A position that oversees all pilot and naval flight officer training for the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and international partners.
Rear Adm. Daniel Dwyer relieved Rear Adm. Gregory Harris at CNATRA.
Harris is a long-time friend of Dwyer who served in the navy over 31 years.
He says Dwyer is a very good fit.
After being winged Dwyer said he set his foundation for a successful career
Both men agree on their mission.
Harris will be moving on to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C as Director of Aviation Warfare.
