Search and rescue efforts continue for the two missing people in Corpus Christi Bay.
Sarah Acosta was live for 3News First Edition at Cole Park with family members of those that are missing and volunteers from the community that are helping search for their loved ones.
The family of Odry Leon, 13 and her father Mario Leon, 35, are asking members of the community to please search the shorelines of the Corpus Christi Bay. The Leons are the two people that are still missing in Corpus Christi Bay after their boat overturned near Flour Bluff Sunday afternoon. Eight people were on board, five were rescued and Patrick Watson, 4, died from drowning.
The family is especially asking for people with boats or drone cameras to help in this search. Toys that were on the boat washed up near the Portland area yesterday according to the family.
They are asking the community to break into groups and search from the Flour Bluff area to Portland.
