Suspect in Shooter's Depot homicide arrested in San Diego

The U.S. Marshal's Gulf Coast Fugitives and Violent Offenders Task Force captured 20-year-old Filamir Gomez in San Diego, Texas Wednesday afternoon.

The U.S. Marshal's Gulf Coast Fugitives and Violent Offenders Task Force captured 20-year-old Filamir Gomez in San Diego, Texas Wednesday afternoon.

Gomez had a warrant for his arrest related to the Shooters Depot murder that happened Sept. 1 on Leopard Street.

The Corpus Christi Police Gang Unit conducted research and developed information which led them to believe that Gomez was in a mobile home located on West Dix Street in San Diego, Texas. The Gang Unit provided the information to the U.S. Marshal's Service and the Gulf Coast Fugitives and Violent Offenders Task Force went to the address and found Gomez. Gomez was then delivered to the Corpus Christi Police Department headquarters for an interview and then delivered to the City Detention Center.

Two other suspects in the Shooters Depot remain at large. Police are still searching for 28-year-old Jeremiah Jenkins and 22-year-old Darian Marshall, who both have warrants for their arrest out of Nueces County related to the Shooters Depot murder.
