CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Saturday, a barbecue benefit for Kendra Berru, the woman who passed away from injuries involving a motorcycle accident, was held.
The fundraiser took place at Buddy's Home Furnishings in Kingsville.
All proceeds from the benefit will go towards covering funeral costs.
According to her family, Berru passed away on Saturday June 8th.
The 36-year-old mother of two was described as gentle and kind.
