CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The community came together Thursday evening for a walk in honor of Ben Mostafa who was killed 10 years ago in an armed robbery while working at his convenience store in April 2014.
Thursday's event was held at Ben's Community Market on 1602 Ayers Street.
Every year the walk intends to raise awareness about community safety and honor those who have lost their lives to violence.
Participants were encouraged to take a flower to lay at his memorial site.
