Family looking for answers after son stabbed to death on Corpus Christi's westside

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A mother is searching for answers following the death of her son. Police said Ronnie James Morin was stabbed multiple times at a home on this city's westside.

It happened in the 2400 block of Niagara Street Monday morning. According to the Corpus Christi Police Department, Morin was stabbed multiple times shortly before 5 a.m. and police are still searching for a suspect.

Morin's family and friends said they are in disbelief that something like this could happen. His mother, Maria Sotello, shared this message follower her son's death.

"I just want to know if anybody knows anything -- I know somebody out there has to know something, anything -- you hear anything, let the police know. The news. Anybody," Maria Sotello said.
