CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Officers responded to a major traffic accident on Highway 181 Tuesday morning after an 18-wheeler spilled a load of sand across the northbound lanes.
Northbound traffic on Highway 181 was diverted to the North Beach exit.
As of 2:25 p.m. the roadway was cleared and open for travel again.
