DUVAL COUNTY, Texas — The Duval County Criminal Investigation Division in conjunction with the U.S. Border Patrol and in alliance with the 229th Judicial District Attorney's Office continue to unite and investigate immigration crime in their area.
According to investigators, they arrested 30-year-old Roberto Vasquez-Rodriguez Sunday morning who was armed and masked during a human smuggling attempt.
Currently, Vasquez-Rodriguez is in custody at the Duval County Jail and charged with a felony offense of smuggling of persons.
