CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One of CCPD's very own represented the Coastal Bend at this year's128th Boston Marathon.
Assistant Chief Mark Schauer represented the department on the CITGO running team there in Boston.
He was one of two community members selected to join the team.
Since 2015, he's participated in, get this: 24 marathons!!
This Monday marked 25, which he says is a dream come true.
Congrats to him! Way to represent South Texas!
