CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Some teachers over at Olsen Elementary got a big surprise Friday morning when they were presented with big checks!
The Port Aransas Education Foundation began their journey to give away over $300,000 in grant awards to Port Aransas ISD educators!
The teachers who were honored say they can't wait to use the funs to put back into the classroom for their students.
"I am in shock," English teacher Kate Low said. "I'm excited. I'm thrilled. I can't believe what just happened! All my dreams just came true."
Congratulations to those excellent educators shaping the future of our Coastal Bend community!
