The northbound lanes of the Harbor Bridge freeway are open again after crews worked to remove the wreckage from a semi-truck fire Friday morning.
Corpus Christi police officers released a traffic notice alerting commuters they were working a semi-truck fire on the Harbor Bridge - Highway 181 in the northbound lane around 8:15 a.m. Friday. The lanes were backed up and only the left lane was open at that time. Our 3NEWS LexCam showed the fire was put out quickly, but traffic is still impacted.
Please avoid the area if possible.
