TEXAS, USA — A Garland resident recently claimed $1.1 million after winning the Texas Two Step lottery, sharing the winnings with a Houston resident.
While not many Texans win "the big one" – even though the last Mega Millions jackpot winner was bought in San Angelo – there are far more common $1 million winning tickets purchased in Texas. So far, there have been 36 $1 million lottery tickets purchased in Texas for the Powerball and Mega Millions drawings in 2023.
