It was a busy Monday for Coastal Bend coaching hires including over at Three Rivers.
The Bulldogs have tabbed Orange Grove's Brent Kornegay as their next coach and athletic director. Kornegay comes over after spending two seasons in his second stint at OG. He also previously served as the George West head coach.
The Three Rivers ISD school board voted to approve Kornegay Monday afternoon after tabling the motion last week. Kornegay replaces Ramon Soliz, who spent four seasons with the Bulldogs.
