CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — It was a beautiful day this Sunday for the 10th Annual Crawfish Boil Fundraiser which benefits The Coastal Bend Troop Support Inc.
Every month the non-profit sends 50 to 80 care packages to our American heroes, letting them know their community cares for them.
Over the past 14 years, they have sent out 30,000 packages to troops deployed in combat zones.
All of the event's proceeds will help pay for postage of each package that is shipped.
The fundraiser also included a live and silent auction, portraits of fallen heroes from South Texas and a performance from the Corpus Christi Veterans Band.
