Attention pastry-lovers: Bien Mérité moving to new location with 'state-of-the-art amenities'

One of Corpus Christi's favorite French bakeries is headed to a new location on Alameda later this year.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — One of Corpus Christi's favorite French bakeries is whipping up a new treat for the Coastal Bend. 

Croissant-lovers will soon see Bien Mérité's iconic pink doors opening up at a new location on Alameda later this year. 

The bakery and restaurant announced their exciting update over the weekend via social media, sharing a sneak peek of the upcoming building, which is set to debut in the summer/fall of 2024.

Owner Michelle Fraedrick said fans of the dining experience should prepare to be amazed as they usher in a new era of sophistication, comfort, and innovation. 

The new two-story building will be located directly across from the H-E-B gas station on Alameda, and will be complete with stunning architecture, state-of-the-art amenities and other 'meticulously crafted details' that we will soon know all about! 

Bien Mérité will remain open at their current location until the new space is complete later this year. 

Fraedrick said that she and her team are constantly striving to enhance the experience they provide the city and excited about what the announcement means when it comes to providing the best possible environment for people to indulge in their offerings. 

"Our new building represents a significant milestone in our journey, and we cannot wait to unveil it to you."
