Easter campers have one week left to reserve Labonte Park campsites

The city is asking campers to reserve their spots now through March 28.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The city of Corpus Christi is inviting you, your family and friends to camp at Labonte Park this Easter weekend.

The nature park rests along the Nueces River and is to celebrate the Easter holiday from March 29 to March 31.

RV campsites are $55 and all other campsites are $28. The fee covers the entire weekend and includes two parking passes per campsite.

The campsite reservation period will open until 12:00 p.m. on March 28.

Labonte Park is located at 14333 IH-37 Access Road.

Reservations can be made here.

If you are heading out to the park, remember there is only one entrance due to construction work by TxDOT.

Campers can access the park through the underpass of I-37 via the northbound I-37 Frontage Road (access road) where there is a bridge height clearance of 12ft 6in.

If your RV and/or vehicle height exceeds the bridge height clearance, you will not be able to access Labonte Park and you will be stuck at the underpass.
