CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Citations will soon be issued for those who water their yards when they are not supposed to.
This comes after we fell into state two water restrictions last month.
Enforcement crews will issue fines up to $500 per violation.
The citations will go through the municipal court where residents or business owners can plead their case.
Residents can water their lawns once every other week --on their residential trash pick-up day under Stage 2 water restrictions.
