The Corpus Christi Tritons got a big win over a fill-in opponent Friday with a dominating 76-6 performance over the Pharr Phantoms.
The Tritons needed another opponent after the originally scheduled team, the Albany Flint River Gators (GA) dropped out for unknown reasons.
The standout play of the game came from quarterback Jeremy Hunt finding Richey Anderson for the score. Anderson and the Phantoms defender both flipped over the wall with Anderson holding on for the catch.
Corpus Christi is 3-0 in league play, tied for first place with the Columbus Lions (GA).
