CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Authorities briefly blocked northbound traffic on Everhart Road due to a motorcycle accident in the 2 o'clock hour Sunday.
According to police at the scene, a white SUV T-boned a motorcyclist as he was cycling into the intersection of Everhart and SPID. The impact then caused the SUV to drive into a nearby pole.
Both the motorcycle and the SUV were towed away. The motorcyclist was injured and taken to the hospital.
All lanes of traffic are now open at this time.
