CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Sometimes, the best place to think about higher education is outside of the classroom.
Del Mar College Director of Admissions Dr. Carlos Garanzuay joined us on First Edition to tell the community what to expect at their “Community 2 College Connection” event Oct. 17 from 4-7 p.m. at 3202 Cabaniss Rd.
The "Community 2 College Connection" event will offer people of all backgrounds the chance to explore higher education at Del Mar College, as well as provide information on the school's degree programs, dual credit offerings for high school students and enrollment application assistance.
Del Mar College hopes that by hosting the event within the community, members of the community will be more likely to explore degree options freely and without the intimidation that they may otherwise feel on campus.
