Community Empowerment Symposium looks to help you network

The mission of this event is to help empower parents of children with disabilities to advocate on their behalf.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Partners Resource Network PATH Project will be hosting their annual Region 2 Community Empowerment Symposium at Del Mar College’s Heritage Campus on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 9:00am- 2:00pm.

Partners Resource Network is a nonprofit agency with the mission to help empower parents of children and youth with disabilities in their role as parents, decision-makers, and advocates for their children.

The Project does this by providing workshop training, information, referrals, and technical assistance at no cost to families. The purpose of this event is to give parents, siblings, relatives, caregivers, and professionals the opportunity to learn from our distinct speakers, as well as to network with other families while creating a community and developing lifelong friendships.

In addition to having presentations, exhibitor tables of resources will be available to the community. Those interested in attending this event can register here. For more information, please contact Natalie Parker at 361-445-2381 or region2prn@gmail.com.
